Exposed Images was originally established in 1990 by owner, Lee Ladensack and has been operating in Cashiers, North Carolina since 1996.
Lee’s professional marketing and graphic design experience began in 1987 while working in the signing department of a 36 store hardware chain in Youngstown, Ohio.
Being a computer geek he convinced his boss to invest in the Mac Plus personal computer to modernize the overworked sign department from hand printed signs that took forever and were inconsistent, to printed signs on pre-printed template stock which were created on the Mac and ended up saving the company considerable amounts of both money and time.
Over the next few years he was instrumental in introducing more computers to the advertising department to replace the old Linotype typesetting machine that created the advertising circulars. He also helped acquire scanners to input images into the computer which replaced cut and paste tasks that involved actual hot wax, x-acto knives and large clip art magazines.
In 1990 he began freelancing part time and had built his client base enough to take the entrepreneurial next step to start Exposed Images full time. After moving to North Carolina in 1995 however, he accepted a full time position at Cashiers Printing while learning and building websites in his spare time for various businesses and was able to build his client base up again and then relaunched Exposed Images in 1996.
Now over thirty years later he has developed his skills in graphic design, illustration, web development, social media, search engine optimization, copy-writing, desktop publishing and photography to promote many small and large businesses in the area and all across the United States.
Lee is constantly looking for new ways to create efficiency and effectiveness in his clients online web campaigns by helping them help themselves. He is proficient in Client Management Solutions like WordPress as well as Joomla platforms and has set up many clients with the ability to manage their own day to day changes.
